Our Mission is:

To provide the best DWI education a lawyer can get and establish a forum for our membership to teach;

To avoid political turmoil to further the interest of DWI practitioners;

To make protecting the rights of citizens charged with an intoxication related offense our organization’s primary goal;

To further the interests of TCDLA as a strong voice for the criminal practitioner and citizen (while acknowledging limits) and those interests;

To develop a strong working relationship with TCDLA and other state and local bar associations;

To develop a strong working relationship with national defense lawyer organizations;

To develop and make available a strong user friendly internet presence for our membership to access immediate online assistance and resources; and,

To assist our members in using our affiliation, the education we provide, and our association as a means to make their business more profitable (of course, this list will be expanded).
