Bennie E Ray

Bennie E. Ray has been in practice since 1973 and represents clients all across Texas and Georgia. He is a graduate of Sam Houston University with a B.S.; The University of Houston School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree, and St. Edwards University with a M.A. in Human Services.

George Sharman George Scharmen

President  2017

George Scharmen was licensed to practice law in 1973. He later became board certified in the practice of Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1992 and board certified in the practice of Criminal Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 1993.

Gary Medlin

In over 29 years of criminal law practice, Gary Medlin has handled thousands of criminal matters. His experience practicing both sides of Texas state and federal criminal law cases offers a significant advantage to his clients.Gary graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1982. He is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Billy has been defending citizens since 1995, his practice focuses primarily on DWI’s in Hays County.  An aspiring screenwriter, a country lawyer, he sees every trial as a story wanting to be told, every jury subconsciously pulling for the underdog.  No matter where other endeavors may lead, he vows that so long as the government assaults its citizens with needles, he will always stand in defense.

 Troy McKinney

General Counsel

Troy McKinney, a shareholder in Schneider & McKinney, P.C., has been licensed for 27 years having graduated magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law and having been a briefing attorney at the First Court of Appeals. He is a Triple Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Law, Criminal Appellate Law and in DWI Defense Law (the only lawyer in the State to have all three Board certifications).
